Who am I?
As a second-generation Bengali immigrant who grew up in the north of England, my childhood was a fusion of vibrant Indian heritage and the quirky charms of an industrial English town. Although, I've lived in London now for a very long time, I'm particularly proud that I've never lost my northern twang!
Since coming here I've completed a Psychology degree at the University of London and after working in another field for a while, I circled back round to this passion to become a therapist.
I'm now specialising as an intercultural integrative therapist working with adults navigating identity, culture and emotional wellbeing.
Why? Because I've personally experienced the pressures and challenges that come with navigating life through the lens of both an Eastern and Western culture – often with very little support.
I'm now playing my small part in helping to change the therapeutic landscape for those who experience struggles in this area.
